Registrations & guarantees

What we are registered for, and what we guarantee.

The registrations that matter for heating and plumbing work in Ireland, what each one means for you, and the guarantee that comes with every job.

Registered Gas Installer (RGI)

Gas work in Ireland, domestic and non-domestic, must be done by a Registered Gas Installer. The RGI scheme is run on behalf of the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU). All gas work is carried out under Christy's Registered Gas Installer registration and signed off by him, and every gas installation is certified with a Declaration of Conformance.

OFTEC

OFTEC registration covers oil-fired heating technicians in Ireland and the UK. It is not a legal requirement for oil work here, but it shows the technician has been trained and assessed.

SEAI registered contractor

SEAI grants for heat pumps and heating controls are only paid when the work is done by an SEAI registered contractor. We are registered for the categories we install.

Our guarantee

  • 12 months on our workmanship and on every material and part we supply and fit, on every job.
  • Manufacturer warranties on boilers, heat pumps and cylinders — registered for you, with the length set by the manufacturer.
  • If something we did is not right, we come back and fix it.

Insurance

Public liability insurance is held and the certificate is available on request.

Book a service or request a quote.

Book a service or ask for a price online, and attach a photo of the boiler, the leak or the job. Christy replies with a fixed price or a time to call, and nothing starts until you have agreed it.
