Water pressure, pump and shower problems resolved.
Poor pressure has a handful of causes — a tank-fed system, an old pipe, a failing pump, or a well pump nearing the end of its life. We measure what you have and fix the cause rather than bolting on a pump that does not suit it.
In short
Low water pressure usually comes from one of four things: a tank-fed system, an old or narrow supply pipe, a failing shower or booster pump, or a worn-out well pump. We measure mains pressure and flow first, then fix the cause. Sometimes that is a valve, sometimes a correctly sized pump or a pressurised cylinder.

What we work on
- Shower pumps — replaced, re-sited or quietened.
- Whole-house booster pumps for tank-fed systems.
- Well pumps, pressure vessels and pressure switches on rural supplies.
- Old lead or narrow supply pipes that limit flow.
- Converting to a pressurised (unvented) hot water cylinder where the mains can support it.
Measure first
We check the mains pressure and the flow rate before recommending anything. A pump on the wrong system can be illegal to connect directly to the mains, or simply will not help.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can I put a pump on my mains water supply?
Usually not. Pumping directly from the mains is restricted, and on the wrong system a pump either will not help or should not be connected at all. We measure pressure and flow first and recommend what is allowed and actually works.
Do you work on well pumps?
Yes. We repair and replace well pumps, pressure vessels and pressure switches on rural supplies across our service area.
Why is my shower pump so noisy?
Typically worn bearings, air in the system, or a pump that is poorly mounted or the wrong size. We diagnose it on site and quote to repair, re-site or replace it.
